Portraits of people — Welcome! My name is Robert Lawler and these are my original oil paintings. Many of them are for sale and I am available for commission works also.

These are paintings of people that I have done. They are mostly done from life in one sitting. One of my goals in painting a portrait is to try to convey a bit of the subject’s personality onto the panel.
